Walking through Campo Marzio in Rome, I discovered a shop selling leather cords in all the colours of the rainbow. I chose the colours that to me best symbolize Rome - the houses and the Tiber - and assembled them into a necklace. The Roman house-fronts have a quite special wonderfully warm, glowing shimmer because of the pulverized marble dust (quartz) mixed in the stucco. Which is why I decided to get married in this romantic city. |
